After four years of great low-season rates for gorilla permits in Uganda, effective from 2018 permit prices will be uniform irrespective of when you travel. However, those who travel with Adventure Consults still have one last opportunity to book

permits at the lowest price ever — US$450 per person during the upcoming month of November. A few spots are still available and our sales team is ready to take your last-minute bookings.

April, May and November have always been considered as low-season months for travelers, but the extraordinarily good weather has made Uganda an all-year destination without distinct seasonality. Effective 2018, gorilla permits will cost a flat rate of US$600 per person throughout the year.

This, however, still leaves Uganda your cheapest option for gorilla tracking because neighboring Rwanda doubled the price of its gorilla permits a few months back. In an effort to encourage more travelers to participate in the gorilla tracking experience, Uganda made the wise decision to maintain its gorilla permit price at US$600 — which is still US$900 cheaper than Rwanda.

Uganda remains the only place where you don’t have to cross international borders to hang out with gorillas, chimpanzees, tree-climbing lions and lots more. Get in touch to organize a safari that combines the Big Five and primates.
