The community-based tour goes through the Nyamirambo community of Kigali, giving you an insight into everyday life and challenges, social events and businesses. You will walk through the busy town predominantly occupied by the Muslim community.

Visit the car-free zone areas which the government designed to provide space for children to play during holidays and weekends. Children have expressed their talents by drawing paintings in the middle of their streets, adults play board games and eye-catching wall paintings are seen everywhere.

It’s in this area where restaurants have been established and people enjoy their meals and drinks without any interruption from vehicles or motorcycles driving past.

You will visit the local shops and roadside markets selling fresh foods, drinks and local snacks. If you have a good adventure spirit, you can taste the local foods and drinks.

You will have a one-on-one with the young women guides who will tell you about Rwanda culture, history, current affairs and the bright future of this clean Nation.

Adventure Consults does organise both day and night walking tours. The day tour can start any time after 8am and night tour start from 5pm onwards.
