Kigali International Airport (also known as Kanombe Airport) is the only international airport in Rwanda.  Several daily flights connect Kigali with other capitals of the sub-region and intercontinental flights allow passenger traffic between Europe, Middle East and other continents, directly or with a connection.

Our Rwanda flying safaris are strictly on private basis using helicopters. The type of helicopter to use depends on size of group or family.

We offer helicopters tours to all National parks in Rwanda using the following available Aircrafts/Helicopters.

  • Augusta A109S; Twin engine seating a maximum of 6 passengers, weight capacity of 380 Kilograms maximum.
  • Augusta A119MKII; Single engine, six seater helicopter, with 380 Kilograms maximum of weight capacity.
  • Robinson 44; Single engine 3 seater helicopter with maximum weight of 180 Kilograms. This is the recommended option for aerial photography because of the detachable doors.

All National parks have got landing facilities which are close to most high end lodges/accommodations.
