- What are the requirements/ process for arriving passengers into Uganda?
- Fully vaccinated travelers do not need to carry out any tests prior their travel to Uganda. Proof of vaccination is required at all entry points.
- Passengers with partial or no vaccination are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours from the time of sample collection to boarding aircraft leaving country of origin. Note that the only acceptable results are those issued by accredited labs to carry out tests for travel as recommended by respective governments/country of origin.
- Does one need to carry out another test upon arrival in Uganda?
- No, you are not required to carry out covid-19 test upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport or any points of entry. This is irrespective of whether one is vaccinated or not.
- What are the requirements/ process for arriving passengers into Uganda?
- Unvaccinated children below 5 years are exempted from the COVID-19 PCR test.
- What are the requirements for departing passengers out of Uganda?

- Fully vaccinated travelers exiting Uganda do not need to carry out any tests prior their travel. Note that you will be required to show proof of full vaccination.
- Passengers with partial or no vaccination departing out of Uganda, must have an authentic negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours from the time of sample collection to boarding aircraft.
- In case the destination country or airline requirements defer, they take priority. It’s therefore important to understand and interpret COVID-19 requirements of the country you are travelling to.
- None vaccinated children below 5 years are exempted from the COVID-19 PCR test on departure (subject to the destination requirements).

Covid-19 guidelines in relation to visiting National parks.
- Is there need for COVID-19 test before visiting Gorillas or any primates in Uganda?
- No tests are required to visit primates including Gorillas in Uganda.
- Is there need for COVID-19 test before visiting other National parks and sites?
- No tests are required to visit any National Parks in Uganda.
- PRIMATE TREKKING: Anyone going to visit Gorillas or Chimpanzee, MUST wear masks before getting in proximity. Whereas Adventure Consults will always provide extra masks, we recommend that everyone should carry at least two N95 masks or surgical masks or double layered cloth masks with filters before heading out for primate tracking.
